These corvettes are very reasonable right now in the open market, and the porsche isnt as fast, nor does it handle as good if you happen to be the kind of driver that pushes the limits. The porsche is a mid engine car, which means if you let off the throttle during a bard curve you just lost the car.if you arent an experienced race driver your tendency will be to let up before it says to.the corvette has by far much better road manners at under 100 mph.' —The ZR1 is a classic in Corvette history. With the engine by Lotus, suspension by Bilstein, and sound by Bose, they were a magnificent engineering achievement. The saying went 'life begins at 180mph'. 11' rears, six speed, and an adjustable ride make the car a lot of fun to drive. Very visceral when compared to newer Vettes.
Got rid of my C5's and C6's and kept just this one.Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.).
